An AviSanitas flooring system is smooth, seamless, and completely sealed, free of joints and cracks. This makes the floor easier, more effective, and water-efficient to clean and disinfect compared to a concrete floor, resulting in improved feed conversion and a significant reduction in antibiotic use.
AviSanitas contributes to the food safety of poultry meat by significantly reducing, or even completely eliminating, the risks of pathogens such as Salmonella and E. coli. In addition, AviSanitas promotes the overall health of broilers by providing improved hygienic conditions at floor level, leading to reduced disease and infection pressure. This optimization of the living environment contributes to better feed conversion and ensures consistent quality of the produced meat.
When infection pressure from the floor is kept low from the first day the broilers enter the house, the birds’ immune systems are less stimulated, allowing nutrients from the feed to be converted far more efficiently into growth rather than defense. These results support our belief that AviSanitas can have a meaningful impact on the efficiency and sustainability of broiler production.
Improved feed conversion
Oocysts are easily flushed out of the poultry house due to the smooth and fully sealed surface of the AviSanitas floor. As a result, new flocks are not exposed to infection pressure from the floor. From day one, there is less coccidiosis pressure on the flock, allowing nutrients from the feed to be immediately converted into growth rather than immune response, leading to improved feed conversion. At our reference projects, an improvement of 4 to 5 points in feed conversion has been observed.

Unique features
AviSanitas has been tested in accordance with ISO 22196:2011 for antimicrobial activity. E. coli, Salmonella enterica, Typhimurium, Java, and Infantis do not survive on our flooring system, meaning the floor cannot act as a source of infection. The bactericidal effect against E. coli can result in significantly lower mortality rates within flocks.

Installation of the AviSanitas flooring system
The flooring system is installed directly over your existing poultry house floor. Joints and cracks in the concrete floor are pre-treated and completely sealed. During your downtime period, the floor is installed within 3 to 4 days, depending on your specific situation. The floor finish can be seamlessly extended onto the walls if desired.
Prior to installation, we are happy to visit your farm to determine the best possible solution for your poultry house. We work exclusively with experienced applicators, ensuring that the system is installed quickly, professionally, and efficiently, allowing you to put the poultry house back into operation as soon as possible.
